New Horizons: Nikon D300
It's time to take the next step, to use proper equipement and to learn some photographical techniques. I bought myself a Nikon D300.
I'm very excited, the baby feels very good in my hands, but we first have to get to know each other. After years of fooling around with easygirls cameras it's a challenge to start a serious relationship with a complex, mature lady :-)

Building Ecke Kleist-Martin-Luther-Strasse
I always thought you can find everything in the internet but in fact it's quite difficult to find specific information about interesting buildings that didn't make it to the classics. I could only find one page (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=854524) stating that this building is called Philips-Haus and it was built by Paul Schwebes but when I search for the architects oeuvre it's mentioned nowhere. So if anybody out there has more information, i would appreciate.

In the 30s he was entrusted to recreate Alexanderplatz, the 2 buildings left by him are the Berolinahaus and the Alexanderhaus:
